On your marks, get set, GO! On 25th of August 2017, the mountain adventure begins!
The Carpathians reveal their unknown treasures in speed. Valleys and glacier circus, suspended paths, wild trails, the alpine plateau, breathtaking views.
Transylvania Trail Traverse (T.T.T) is a wild and technical race, with ultra Dracula 106k being the most difficult track in Romania.
The greatest challenges are the “never-ending” ascents to Omu Peak, the rocky terrain, and the changing weather from over 2000m.
T.T.T – Ultra Dracula accumulates in its two loops over 106km length and 7890m ascending (D+). The trail will cross the Bucegi slopes in three separate counties, Brasov, Dambovita and Prahova. The high difficulty is shown by the finishing rate of only 40.9%.
T.T.T – Ultra Vlad Tepes has a length of 52km and 4200m ascending (D+). Despite its technical terrain and very long ascents, it has a good finishing rate of 85.8%. Record time so far is 8:32:33 and the medium time to finish the track is 12.5 hours.
T.T.T – Silvania has a length of 26km and 2465m ascending (D+). Much difficult than the distance shows it, has been finished by 93% of the competitors in a time range varying from 4 to 13 hours.
Starting 2017 T.T.T is bringing a NEW RACE FORMAT. Runners from all over the world will enjoy besides the epic races a few days in Transylvania, in which they will discover the unseen face of a magical part of the world.
